Ocean Soundscapes is an imaginary journey from the Antarctic to the Arctic traveling through sound of the most intriguing bio-acoustic habitats to be found: Frigid polar waters with seals and whales, along coral reefs with fish and invertebrates, through the tropics and along continental coasts. Along the journey we will also hear the sounds of seismic airgun surveys, shipping lanes, military sonar, underwater communication systems, pile driving, wind farms, marine construction, mining operations, recreational watercraft, and other acoustical artifacts of human interactions with the sea.
